Q What happens if I stop paying the membership fee?

An iRobot Select membership is required for robot and Clean Base(R) Automatic Dirt Disposal operation. If you cancel your membership, your robot will not function or be able to operate. Your robot and Clean Base(R) Automatic Dirt Disposal will resume operation should you reactivate your membership. However, customers who stay iRobot Select members for 36 payment cycles (or 3 years), will be eligible to upgrade their robot to a new iRobot Select membership product. Q Will the monthly price ever increase?

The iRobot Select membership program may evolve over time, we will keep our members informed of any changes as they arise.

Q Can I pay for my membership period annually rather than monthly?

At this time, the iRobot Select membership requires monthly billing.

Q I already own a robot, can I trade it in for iRobot Select?

We are always looking for ways to improve and update the iRobot Select membership program. At this time, we do not accept trade-ins nor have a way to transition an existing robot into a Select Membership.

Q I already own a robot, can I signup for iRobot Select as an additional robot for my home?

Yes! Existing robot owners can enroll in the iRobot Select membership program.

Q Will there be other robot models available for iRobot Select in the future?

A

We are always looking for ways to improve and update the iRobot Select membership program. At this time, the iRobot Select membership is only available with the Roomba® i7+ robot vacuum.

Q How does iRobot know when I need a new filter or dirt disposal bag?

A

SmartCare uses predictive intelligence to identify when you will need replacements and ships them to your door before you even realize you need them. We are able to predict when Select members will need replacement items like robot filters and AllergenLock™ bags based on robot usage analytics. This enables us to ship you new AllergenLock™ bags before your current bag is completely full. Your Experience Manager is here for you if you have any questions or require support.

Q Can I return the robot/cancel my membership if I don't like it?

A

Yes, should you want to return your robot there is a 30 day money-back-guarantee period, within which you can return the robot and cancel your membership at no cost to you. Note that to take advantage of the money-back-guarantee you must return your robot within the first 30 days of your initial membership term. See membership terms for details.

Q What is covered as part of the premium protection plan?

A

The premium protection plan will cover your Roomba® i7+ robot and Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal associated with your iRobot Select membership. Generally coverage includes everything typically covered in our standard manufacturer's warranty, plus accidental damage coverage, and robot/battery replacement should you need it. Coverage exclusions apply. See membership terms for details. Coverage will continue each month the membership is active.

Q How do I use the iRobot Home App with my robot?

A

Use the iRobot Home App as you would with any other Roomba® robot vacuum. With the account you used to make your Select Membership purchase, you will login to the app as well as to the Select Member Portal. Once logged in to the iRobot Home App, you'll be able to provision your robot, start a cleaning job, build your Smart Map and configure your cleaning sessions and schedule. Your Experience Manager is here for you if you have any questions or require support.

Q Can I pause my membership if I go on vacation?

A

At this time, we do not have the ability to "pause" membership. Members can cancel their membership via the Select member portal and reactivate it at any time. Membership is on a 30 day period, cancelling your membership will cancel the next billing cycle. Please note that monthly membership fees are prepaid, non-refundable, and are not prorated upon cancellation of service. See membership terms for details.

Q Do I have to pay for replacement filters and other maintenance accessories?

SmartCare is included in your Select membership. There is no additional charge for robot accessories, which include AllergenLock™ Dirt Disposal Bags, high-efficiency filters, Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes, and Edge Sweeping Brushes. With SmartCare, robot accessories like AllergenLock™ bags are shipped to your door right when you need them. SmartCare uses predictive intelligence to identify when you will need replacements and ships them to your door before you even realize you need them.

Q Is my robot covered in the event of accidental damage?

Q How and when do I get replenishment parts for my robot?

Just like how standard vacuums have replacement parts, Roomba® robots have some robot accessories that need to be changed from time-to-time like robot filters and Allergen Lock™ bags for the Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal. SmartCare uses predictive intelligence to identify when you will need replacements and ships them to your door before you even realize you need them. Q What is the Select member portal?

A

The Select member portal gives you access to see unique data and insights about your robot, interact with your dedicated Experience Manager, see the status of SmartCare shipments and manage your iRobot Select membership.

Q When does the monthly membership fee start after I enroll?

A

To keep your iRobot Select membership active, you will be charged a monthly membership free every 30 days from the date of purchase. The first 30 days of service is included in the initial fee of your iRobot Select membership. See membership terms for details.

Q Can I cancel my iRobot Select membership?

A

Yes, you can cancel your iRobot Select membership at anytime to discontinue monthly payments, please see membership terms for details. Should you do so there is no need to send back your robot. Note that the Roomba® i7+ robot vacuum and Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal will only operate with an active iRobot Select membership. You can resume robot operation by reactivating your iRobot Select membership whenever you choose. There is a 30 day money-back-guarantee period, within which you can return the robot and cancel your membership at no cost.

Q Am I buying or leasing the robot?

You own it! Your initial fee includes the cost of your robot. However, the included robot and Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal will only operate with an active iRobot Select membership.

Q Do I ever own the robot?

Yes you own the robot. If you cancel your iRobot Select membership prior to 3 years, there is no need to send your robot back. Note that the Roomba(R) i7+ robot vacuum and Clean Base(R) Automatic Dirt Disposal will only operate with an active iRobot Select membership. You can resume robot operation by reactivating your iRobot Select membership whenever you choose. Customers who stay iRobot Select members for 36 payment cycles (or 3 years), will be eligible to upgrade their robot to a new iRobot Select membership product.
